For seasoned sauna-goers, some liken their local sauna to their local pub (we firmly believe there’s room for both). So, in the spirit of balance during your stay with us, (and a little well earned indulgence), here are a few of our favourite sauna spots in Wiltshire and Somerset.

Tucked within a beautifully kept 18th-century walled garden, this wood-fired sauna and cold plunge offers a quietly restorative escape. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and reset, whether with friends or in peaceful solitude. Social sessions (up to six guests) are available at £15 per hour, and it’s just a five-minute drive from The Beckford Arms.

A short journey from The Beckford Arms brings you to this Scandinavian-inspired retreat, where thoughtful design meets the calm of the surrounding countryside. Unwind on the spacious decking, gather by the firepit, or refresh under the outdoor shower. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming changing space stocked with herbal teas and water, alongside two cold plunge baths, one at a brisk ten degrees, the other at an invigorating four degrees. The wood-fired sauna itself looks out over woodland, where birdsong and the occasional passing hare complete the scene. Social sessions (up to six) are £15 per hour, while private couple sessions are available for £50 for the hour.

Around twenty minutes from The Bradley Hare, this beautifully crafted aspen-clad sauna sits immersed in the landscape, offering sweeping views that shift with the seasons. Designed as a space to gather and ground yourself, it pairs traditional heat with invigorating cold therapy, featuring two Urban Ice Tribe tubs for revitalising contrast therapy. Community sessions (up to ten guests) are £16 per hour, an experience that leaves you feeling both refreshed and quietly rebalanced.

Set within the enchanting village of Teffont Evias, Teffont House is a stunning 17-bedroom village hotel opening in June 2026. Nestled among the beautiful gardens, you will find our Bramley Treatment Cabin, outdoor shower, cold plunge and sauna . Designed as a sanctuary for restoration, it offers guests during their stay a moment to unwind both body and mind, surrounded by birdsong and the natural beauty of the countryside.
